Miss Alice Curtis, 49, Died Sunday in Double Springs

Miss Alice Curtis 49, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Curtis of Double Springs, passed away Sunday after a short illness.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday at 2:30 P. M. at the Fairview Baptist Church and interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. J. M. Burns, Rev W. F. Moore and Rev. Barber conducted the services.

Pallbearers were J. M. Guttery, H. R. Hunter, N. B. Aaron, Stanley Phillips, W. C. Tidwell and J. B. Weaver.

Surviving besides the parents are three brothers, Otto and Willie of Birmingham, Posey of Double Springs; six sisters, Mrs. Ada Davis, and Mrs. Myrtle Davis of Chattanooga, Tenn; Mrs. Mary Stockton, Mrs. Mildred Barr and Misses Ethel and Mayme Curtis, of Double Springs; several nieces and nephews.
