A Good Woman Gone To Rest. Mrs. Emily McCullar, the widow of Dave McCullar, deceased, died at Motes last Saturday. She was buried at Oak Grove on Sunday. She was probably the best known and best liked woman in all south Winston. For a long time she was post master at Motes and her kind disposition and sunny ways made her hundreds of friends. She was a faithful member of the Baptist Church, and has undoubtedly gone to a blissful abode, judging from her consisting Christian life. The sorrowing family and relatives have our deepest sympathy in this their sad bereavement. [Emily E. McCullar, wife of D.S. McCullar, 1 Nov 1840 – 12 Oct 1907; buried Old Oak Grove Cemetery]
