To the memory of Bro. F. M. Revis, Hall of Houston Lodge No. 365 A. f. E. @ A. M. Double Springs, Alabama June 12, 1908.

By Request of brothers a special communication was held by Houston Lodge No. 365 on the 13 day of June 1908 of respect to our late aged and vulnerable brother, Francis M. Revis of Houston Lodge No. 365.

Neighboring Lodges were invited and joined in the ceremonies, which were held at the grave of the deceased of the Posey Cemetery.

Brother Revis during his long Masonic life had been a loved and honored member of several lodges having been a faithful brother of the Fraternity for more than thirty years, and many of his brethren were joined together at his grave in the tribute of love and respect due to all true Masons. The undersigned members of above named lodge were appointed as a committee and report the following resolutions on the departed brother to-wit:

Where as, on the--of May 1908, at the summons of the Supreme Grand Master our brother, Francis M. Revis in the fullness of years laid down his working tools, bright with good work, and passed to the Celestial Lodge, And,

Whereas, his Masonic life and character was an example of uneffected piety to God and love for his fellow men, worthy as an example to all his brethren.

Resolved, that a humble and zealous Mason, a kind and upright man has passed away from us, leaving an example which should guide us in the future. We are bereaved. We bow to the will of the Master "Resolved", that these resolutions be published in the county paper, spread upon the minutes of the Lodge and a copy sent to Acton Revis adopted son of the deceased
