J.P. Gossett, Bus Driver

DOUBLE SPRINGS -- J.P. Gossett, 50, Double Springs, died Oct. 11, 1974 at 6 p.m. in Peoples Hospital in Jasper. A bus driver, he died of a heart attack after an illness of four years.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. from Old Enon Church, with Rev. Chamless and Rev. McCrary officiating. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery with Nichols Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Perlean Gossett, Double Springs; two daughters, Miss Judy Sue Gossett and Miss Bessie Sue Gossett, both of Double Springs; one son, M.P. Gossett, Double Springs; two brothers.
