Junior Ray Spain, 71, of Jasper, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug 24, 2000, at the New Hope Holy Church of Christ with burial in the Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Poplar Springs. He is survived by his wife, Jewel Evelyn Spain of Jasper; one son, Bobby Ray Spain of Jasper; two sisters, Joyce Freeman of Jasper and Ida Mote of Nauvoo; one brother Calvin Spain of Nauvoo; and two grandchildren, Chris and Kim Spain.
