The wooden structure is the old store and upstairs was the Masonic Lodge for many years. The white building is the Houston Post Office. According to Marshall Alford, the wooden building was constructed in 1907 by Bob and Ed Stewart for Will Everett. This photo ran in the newspaper on April 6, 1992.
