Haleyville High School 1937 - 1964. The High School was built in 1937, burned 1942, was rebuilt immediatly. In 1964 it became the Junior High School, after the present High School was completed. In 1967 the seventh and eighth grades were moved to new classrooms at the new high school. The fourth, fifth and sixth grades moved into the Junior High Building, at which time the name was changed to the 21st Street Elementary School. It burned in 1986.
