South Haleyville Grammar School

The South Haleyville Grammar School was built in 1923 for grades 1 thru 4. It burned in 1953, and the students were transferred to Haleyville Elementary. The principals were: 1924: Miss Nell Phillips, 1925 - 29: Mrs. Frances Rutland, 1930 - 40: Cleon West, and 1941 - 53: Amy Moore. Thanks to Joyce Farris for the picture.
