Smith Alexander Passed Away Wed. Morning

Smith Alexander, 75-year-old resident of Double Springs, Rt. 3, passed away at his residence Wednesday, Dec. 20 following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Williams Cemetery, with the Rev. John Miller officiating. Nichols Funeral Home of Haleyville directed burial in adjoining cemetery.

Surviving are the wife, five sons, eight daughters and several grandchildren.
