1. Tying a frog around a child’s neck makes the child teethe easier.

9. If you kill a toad, your cow will go dry.

10. Warts are caused by touching frogs but can be cured by soaking three times in "stump water."

12. You can prevent lightning from striking you by sitting on a feather bed.

22. If palm of right hand itches then you will receive money, if palm of left hand then you will have unexpected expenses to pay.

23. If you jump in your sleep a rabbit has just ran across your grave.
