Unknown Soldier's Grave (Destroyed), Winston County, Alabama, T11S R10W S29 According to Mr. Vaudrie Tittle, who lives about a mile away, there was a soldier's grave buried next to part of the old Byler Road. It is in an area that has been strip mined, and apparently, it has been destroyed. Mr. Tittle's brother used to live a couple hundred yards away, and he visited this grave as a kid. In Natural Bridge on Hwy. 278 West, turn left on Hwy. 13 South. Go 1.5 miles, and turn right (County Road 356 is on the left). Go around the curve, and the grave was on the right about 200-300 yards off the road on the ridge.
