Since I recived all the census reports from you, I have been in touch with Larry Wilson, RT 1 Box 143R, Victoria, TX 77901 and his aunt Edna Brazil, 468 N. Church St., Tupelo, MS 38801. They had family pictures of Jessie & Nancy Ann Jackson & family and Jessie Wilson (our James M.) & family which I am enclosing. Edna had her grandfather George D. Wilson's Family Bible.

Joel Sylvester Wilson married Alma Jackson b. December 30, 1885 d. Oct. 1, 1975 on Dec 10, 1911 double wedding with Sullivan Ray and Ellen Wilson. Joel Wilson was 1st cousin to Zona & Nancy Ann Wilson.
James M. (Jessie) was a full blooded Cherokee indian - John L. and George D. were sons of James M. (Jessie) Willson.

Joel Sylvester Wilson was the son of George Daniel Harry Wilson and Mary Ann Ward. He was born July 25, 1885 in Winston County, Alabama and died on January 7, 1957 in Lee County, Mississippi. He married Alma Jackson on December 11, 1910 in Lee County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Jesse Jackson and step-daughter of Nancy Ann Wilson (daughter of John Lee Wilson). Alma was born December 10, 1885 in Alabama and died October 1, 1975 in Lee County, Mississippi. Joel and Alma had the following children: Eugene, Berniece, Clara M., Joel S., Jr., Jewel D. (Mrs. Otis Hill), Edna (Mrs. Almae Brazil), Louise, Allen, and Annie Ruth.
