Martha Jane Wilson was born July 25, 1874 in Haleyville, Winston County, Alabama and died December 19, 1920 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of George Daniel Harry Wilson and Mary Ann Elizabeth Ward. Martha Jane Wilson married William Michael Brooks November 1, 1888 in Winston County, Alabama. He was the son of William Wellington Lee Brooks and Rutha Lucinda Long.
